Yongtai Li

Graduate Student

Yongtai is a PhD student with a great interest in investigating material characteristics at the nanoscale level. His research has focused on the behavior of strongly correlated 2D-based materials. Yongtai is researching the impact of native random defects in these materials using many-body techniques such as dynamical mean-field theory. His study seeks to understand how these imperfections affect the characteristics of materials and how they might be used for possible applications in domains such as electronics and energy storage.
