Srihari Kastuar is a PhD student and a theoretical physicist with a keen interest in the study of two-dimensional solid-state systems, specifically transition metal dichalcogenides and perovskites. His research is centered on computational modeling of the electronic and optical properties of these systems, utilizing cutting-edge techniques such as first-principles density functional theory and many-body approximations like GW-BSE. In addition, he leverages data-driven machine learning for high-throughput analysis, and innovative materials design.
